Oregonians have always enjoyed visiting the coast, and the Oregon Coastal Access Inventory is a detailed and accurate description of all public beach access points in Coastal Oregon. It has been revised on a decadal cycle since the first inventory was produced in 1990. The most recent inventory from 2020 is browsable in the online "Oregon Shore Explorer" Tool, developed by the Oregon Coastal Management Program in partnership with the Oregon Coast Visitors Association.
The Oregon Shore Explorer allows users to browse the coast to view access locations, and also includes "filters" that allow users to search for sites with specific kinds of amenities. Note that the tool only displays sites that are developed for access amenities, and does not expose sites that may be protected for future access, but that are currently undeveloped.
