Description:

Abstract:
This data set is the spatial documentation of the Lincoln County Wave Energy Project preliminary permit application. The Porject is to be situated in the Pacific Ocean within the Territorial Sea direclty offshore of Lincoln county. This permit application was not accepted by FERC due to it's limited specificity and broad scope.
Purpose: To document the geospatial location of the preliminary permit application by Lincoln County Wave Energy Project.
Supplemental Information: The Lincoln County Wave Energy Project is now working on just off of Newport with the Finnavera company and Oregon State University in the deployment of wave energy test buoys.
